Organizational Culture of Cooperative Enterprises in Poland: An Empirical Study

Purpose: The main purpose of the article was to determine impact organizational culture on effectiveness management agricultural cooperatives. Cooperative movement is an important element, significantly influencing development rural areas and agriculture. Among scientists practitioners, condition Polish cooperative raises concerns about its future in confrontation with modern agriculture highly developed countries. Design/Methodology/Approach: methods used study include literature analysis critique, participant observation, comparisons, case studies, induction deduction, synthesis. research tool OCAI (Organizational Culture Assessment Instrument) questionnaire by K.S Cameron E. Quinn, based competing value model. 133 entities located various regions Poland from industries were deliberately selected for study. These dairy cooperatives, beekeeping horticulture groups producers. sample accounted 20% each type cooperative. questionnaires addressed these because they able adapt new challenges related transformation economy after 1990. Practical Implications: conducted shows that autocratic style dominates studied On other hand, measure success human resources, greater involvement members teamwork.
